This photo captures his joy upon seeing snow for the first time
(he was too little to remember it from last year).
At first, he didn't know what to think of the snow as we stepped out onto the front porch,
but after inspecting it with his bare hands (he refused gloves),
soon enough he was running into it with arms outstretched.
Turning around with a charming smile.
And inspecting it some more.
