2009 Week 19

He loves the lake. He has loved it since he was 6 months old,

but now he actually asks to go to the LAKE,

to play on the private little hideaway beach

that is ours alone every time we go there,

and wade into the cool water with his friends.

It is his mother's dream to live on a lake,

where the freshwater waves lap at one's backyard grasses

and a swim can be had each day from May through October,

so this apple has not fallen too far from the tree.
